Cape Naturaliste · Western Australia
Yoga in the Cape Naturaliste region. Indoor classes at Vasse Hall now, with beach sessions at Meelup Beach West & Busselton Foreshore joining once the council permit clears.
We practise outside — on the sand, on the grass, with the swell keeping time. Sessions run sixty unhurried minutes and are built so that a first-timer and someone twenty years in can put their mats down side by side without either feeling out of place.
Bring a mat and a towel. The coast takes care of the rest.
Classes end without a rush — stay for a swim, a coffee at a partner cafe, a conversation. The people are half the point.

01 Classes
Sixty minutes on the cape, three classes a week. Groups stay small enough that you get looked after and open enough that nobody feels watched.
One to one, a few friends on a lawn, a wedding party the morning after, or a team that needs an hour away from a screen. Shaped around what you want and where you want to be.
Sessions draw on:

05 About
A few lines here about how you came to teach, what kind of practice you run, and why you took it outside. Two short paragraphs is plenty — people are deciding whether they would like standing next to you at six in the morning, not reading a CV.
Something about this coast specifically, and what an hour on the sand does that an hour in a room cannot.

08 Good to know
Classes at Vasse Hall are indoors, so they run whatever the sky is doing. Once the beach sessions start: light rain we flow through — it is usually the best class of the week — and for real rain, wind or lightning the session is called at least two hours before it starts. You will get a message, and the class goes straight back onto your pass as a credit. Nobody has to chase anything.
A mat, water, and something warm for the last five minutes when you stop moving. Vasse Hall has a hard floor under you, so a proper mat is kinder than a thin travel one — and shoes come off at the door. When the beach sessions start, a towel over the mat keeps the sand and the dew off.
No. Every class is taught with options, so you choose the version of each shape that suits the body you brought that morning. Say hello beforehand and you will get a bit of extra attention without being singled out.
Every spot is listed under where we meet, with a landmark and a link straight into Google or Apple Maps. Your confirmation email carries the same pin. Arrive about ten minutes early. We start on time because the light does.
Cancel more than twelve hours out and the class returns to your pass. Inside twelve hours the spot is usually already gone to someone else, so it is counted as taken. Weather cancellations are always credited in full.
Both are welcome, and both are worth a line in the health declaration when you book so the class can be adapted before you arrive rather than mid-sequence. If anything is recent or acute, check with your doctor or physio first.
