Terms
Terms, waiver & health declaration
These are the terms you agree to when you tick the box at booking. They are written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here does not sit right with you, say so before class rather than after.
Draft — for Fayth's and her insurer's review, not yet legal text
01 Liability waiver
Yoga is physical activity, and outdoors it is physical activity in weather, on sand, on grass, near water. You take part at your own risk, and you accept responsibility for your own safety and for anything you bring with you.
- Classes run in an outdoor public space. Uneven ground, wind, sun, heat, cold, insects, wildlife and other people using the same beach or foreshore are part of it.
- You agree to follow the instructor's directions, to work within your own limits, and to stop and say something if a shape hurts. Nothing in a class is compulsory.
- Hands-on adjustments are offered, never assumed. You can decline at any time, for any reason or none, and you will not be asked why.
- Naturaliste Yoga carries public liability insurance. That does not remove your responsibility for practising sensibly, and it does not cover belongings left on the sand.
- Children under 16 are welcome with a participating parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.

02 Health declaration
When you book you are telling us that you are well enough to take part, and that you have disclosed anything that would change how the class is taught to you.
- Tell us before class about injuries, recent surgery, pregnancy, high or low blood pressure, heart or respiratory conditions, dizziness, epilepsy, or anything else that might matter. Before, so the class can be shaped around it, rather than halfway through a sequence.
- If a condition is recent, acute or under active treatment, get clearance from your doctor or physio first. If you are pregnant, particularly in the first trimester or if this is a new practice for you, the same applies.
- Pregnancy and injury are both welcome in class. They just need a line at booking.
- Let us know if anything changes between booking and the morning of the class.
- In an emergency, you consent to first aid being given and to an ambulance being called if it is needed. Any cost of that is yours.
03 Weather & cancellation
Light rain we flow through. Real rain, strong wind or lightning and the session is called off.
- A weather cancellation is decided and sent by 6:30am. You get a message, and the class goes straight back on as a credit. There is nothing to chase and nothing to claim.
- Cancel your own booking more than twelve hours before the start and the class returns to your pass as a credit.
- Inside twelve hours the spot has usually already gone to someone else, so the class is counted as taken. Get in touch if something genuinely unavoidable happened — this is a small operation, not a call centre.
- Credits sit on your pass and carry the pass's expiry. Passes run six months from purchase.
- If a class is cancelled for any reason other than weather, you can take the credit or ask for a refund to the card you paid with.

04 Privacy policy
Booking collects the least it can, health information is treated as the sensitive material it is, and none of it is sold to anybody. This section is the whole of it — there is no longer version somewhere else.
- What is collected at booking. Your name, your email, the session you booked, and anything you chose to tell us in the health declaration. That is the lot. Card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by Naturaliste Yoga.
- Health information. Used for one thing — teaching you safely. Give us only what matters for the class. It is visible to your instructor and to nobody else, it is kept apart from the mailing list, and it is never put in an email, a group message or a class list. Free-text notes are deleted twelve months after the class.
- Cookies and analytics. This draft site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carries no tracking or advertising tags. The one thing stored is your choice of draft font and palette, kept in your own browser, which never leaves your device. If anything measurable is added later it will be named here before it is switched on.
- Never sold. Your details are not sold, rented or handed to anyone for marketing. The only third parties involved are the ones a booking cannot run without: payment processing, the calendar the schedule comes from, and email delivery.
- The weekly schedule email is opt-in and separate from booking. Every one carries a working unsubscribe link, and leaving the list does not affect a booking you have already made.
- Seeing it, or having it deleted. Ask for a copy of everything held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing hello@naturalisteyoga.com. Booking and payment records that have to be kept for tax or insurance are the one exception, and they are kept for no longer than that requires.
